Description

Outgoing mobility offers students, graduates, doctoral candidates, and postgraduates of Austrian higher education institutions the opportunity to undertake studies or research work at a university or research institution abroad. As a grant program of OeAD-GmbH – Agency for Education and Internationalisation, it promotes the strengthening of international competencies and the development of global networks. Applications can be submitted at any time and without limitation, enabling flexible planning periods. The program is aimed at individuals throughout Austria and covers the areas of initial and continuing education, training, as well as research and innovation.

A prerequisite for a successful application is the fulfillment of specific program criteria, including the age limit, chosen field of study, scientific qualification, and the substantive design of the respective study or research project. The funding not only deepens professional knowledge but also fosters intercultural experiences that contribute to personal and academic development. The continuously open deadlines offer maximum flexibility, while OeAD-GmbH, as the national agency for Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, oversees the administrative processes and ensures that the funds are used efficiently. Interested parties thus receive straightforward support to successfully implement international educational and research projects.
