Sponsorship (Acción Humana Foundation)

The sponsorship program of the Acción Humana Foundation enables private individuals in Germany to provide boys from the AHLE project in Honduras with a safe home and comprehensive education through a monthly contribution of €30. Due to the full utilization rate, the entire amount flows directly into costs for books, school uniforms, and transportation. Participants thus support not only basic needs but also sustainably strengthen the prospects of the youth. A prerequisite for funding is a completed and signed sponsorship form, which formally commits to the sponsorship. The continuous continuation of the sponsorship is reviewed based on the behavior and academic performance of the sponsored children to ensure that the assistance is targeted and effective.

The funding is available nationwide and is aimed at all private individuals who wish to engage long-term in educational equity and child and youth welfare. Through their commitment, sponsors regularly receive information about the development of their sponsored child, thereby contributing to a personal bond. The Acción Humana Foundation guarantees transparency through independent auditing of the administrative share and ensures that no deductions are made. Since applications can be submitted at any time, this program offers an uncomplicated way to actively promote equal opportunities and create hope and prospects for an independent future in Honduras.
