Plant Sponsorship Campaign / Plant Sponsors

The Tree Sponsorship Campaign of the Förderstiftung Lebensgemeinschaft Wickersdorf links environmental protection and social participation in Thuringia: Through tree sponsorships, tree plantings and additional greening measures are implemented that continuously complement the open space concept of the Lebensgemeinschaft. As a sponsorship model, the campaign enables the financing of mature trees, flowering shrubs, and hedge plants. Interested private individuals, companies, foundations, public institutions, and non-profit organizations can take on sponsorships at any time and thus invest specifically in energy efficiency and climate protection. The plantings have been carried out since 2024, with further measures around the replacement parking lot planned for spring 2026.

The Förderstiftung, a non-profit public foundation under civil law, uses proceeds from its endowment capital to sustainably support people with physical, mental, or emotional impairments who belong to the Lebensgemeinschaft Wickersdorf. While the residents indirectly benefit from the new green spaces, sponsors and donors make a visible contribution to shaping a vibrant and natural environment with each sponsorship. Applications and donations are possible at any time – thus creating an attractive, inclusive living environment in the long term and effectively fulfilling the foundation’s purpose.
