Description

The Veolia Foundation supports civic engagement of Veolia employees in Germany through ProEhrenamt. Each year, up to 100 non-profit organizations receive a grant of 500 euros to promote projects in the areas of environmental and nature conservation, education, social cohesion, energy efficiency, as well as vocational training and further education. Eligible to participate are employees who have been with the company for at least six months and volunteer at least 100 hours annually. The focus is on initiatives that support disadvantaged people, implement environmental projects, or advance educational offerings – with the goal of making an active contribution to greater solidarity and climate-friendly action.

The application deadline is July 31, 2026. Submission must include a club confirmation of the hours worked, the organization's valid statutes, the current tax exemption notice from the tax office, and a brief project description of the volunteer activity. The selection is made by the foundation’s board by the International Volunteer Day in December 2026. This program provides sustainable support for volunteer work and the opportunity to initiate tangible changes locally. Interested employees are invited to submit their initiative and become part of a nationwide network that actively advances future topics from social participation to climate protection.
