Description
Program Mobility offers private individuals nationwide the opportunity to undertake study and research stays within the framework of existing bi- and multilateral networks. Since October 2012, scholarships and travel expenses have been granted indefinitely as subsidies to build an internationally competitive higher education and research area. The funding aims to support planned scientific work, intensify cross-border cooperation, and strengthen the transfer of knowledge and innovation.
Eligible for funding are students and researchers who are active in established network structures and wish to undertake stays abroad. Any private individual is entitled to apply; there is no annual deadline or fixed submission date. Funds are approved for scholarships and travel expenses, taking into account the thematic focus of the research project, the quality of the network activities, and the scientific qualifications of the applicants. With an annual budget of around 2.1 million euros, the program thus continuously supports mobility and professional exchange in the fields of research & innovation, science, as well as education & training.
