Program for the Improvement of Infrastructure in Rural Areas

The program for the improvement of infrastructure in rural Tyrol supports agricultural enterprises, path communities, road interest groups, as well as municipalities in the construction and renovation of public road facilities and other technical installations. Funding is provided, for example, for agricultural cableways as well as the electrification and telephone connection of farmsteads. Applications can be submitted informally at any time, and the funding program is available indefinitely. A prerequisite for a positive funding decision is the submission of the application prior to the start of construction, the presentation of all official approval notices, and proof of all costs through original invoices and payment receipts. The disbursed grants contribute to the sustainable development of permanently inhabited rural areas of Tyrol and improve mobility as well as the basic technical supply of farmsteads.

The funding offer aims to strengthen agricultural enterprises and municipal facilities in peripheral areas and thus promote regional development. For application submission, a general project description, a detailed construction cost estimate, and all required approval notices must be attached. Invoice data must be dated after the funding approval to ensure full cost reimbursement. Compliance with the funding guidelines is ensured through regular on-site inspections by the construction supervision and the accounting department of the Agrar group. With this funding, the State of Tyrol contributes to the modernization of rural infrastructures and the long-term safeguarding of living and working conditions in the region.
