The Hamburg Donation Parliament Foundation supports Hamburg-based non-profit organizations with one-time start-up and bridging grants to combat poverty, homelessness, and social isolation. The Finance Commission reviews the completeness and appropriateness of the application packages and prepares decision proposals. In a public meeting, applicants present their projects before funding is allocated democratically.
