Project Funding (Education & School) – Claussen-Simon Foundation

For decades, the Claussen-Simon Foundation has been committed to providing young people in Hamburg with creative and sustainable educational experiences. Through project funding in the area of Education & School, nonprofit organizations, public institutions, and educational providers operating outside formal learning contexts are supported. The goal is to create learning spaces where children and adolescents can independently experiment, participate, and discover their interests. The focus is on innovative formats that combine practical experience, creative work, and collective co-creation.

Projects that provide barrier-free access to educational offerings and consider diverse life realities are supported. Central are initiatives that empower young people to strengthen their self-efficacy and develop new perspectives. The call is equally addressed to institutions engaged in extracurricular education as well as to projects that link social commitment and educational opportunities. Currently, however, applications cannot be submitted, as the next funding round will be announced at a later date. Interested organizations can stay informed about future deadlines and prepare early for innovative initiatives.
