Project Funding by the Baur Foundation

The project funding of the Baur Foundation is aimed at tax-privileged, non-profit organizations in the Altona district and supports children and young people up to 25 years of age residing in Hamburg-Altona. Projects are funded in the areas of educational assistance, creative and cultural activities, sports and exercise, as well as health measures. The goal is to create sustainable offerings that strengthen young people in their development, enable social participation, and promote health-conscious behavior. Through targeted support of regional projects, a vibrant network is created that connects creativity, social cohesion, and the promotion of physical activity.

Applications can be submitted continuously and must include a completed application form, current tax exemption certificate, detailed project description, cost breakdown, and signed application. An expert review ensures that the requested funds are used exclusively for the described measures and that the target group in the Altona district is reached. Upon positive decision, organizations receive a one-time grant. In return, the Baur Foundation expects to be acknowledged as a sponsor in the project communication.
