Description
The Beurer Foundation supports non-profit initiatives at regional, national, and international levels through its funding program, with a focus on sustainable education and targeted environmental measures. Since its inception, the foundation has promoted projects that enable disadvantaged children, youth, and women to access vocational and further education and strengthen their social participation. Effective from 2025, the foundation will expand its portfolio to include environmental projects aimed at CO₂ reduction and plastic waste prevention. By combining educational support and climate protection, long-term synergies are created that enhance individual development opportunities while contributing to the preservation of natural habitats. The Beurer Foundation’s commitment ranges from traditional learning and support programs in Germany to international partnerships in developing regions, where, for example, solar-powered mini-grids are installed or invasive aquatic plants are integrated into climate protection projects.
Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, public and educational institutions, as well as foundations based in Germany that implement projects in the fields of education, vocational and further training, child and youth promotion, women’s empowerment, development cooperation, migration, social cohesion/democracy, labor & social affairs, energy efficiency/climate protection, and agriculture/rural development. Project funding is granted as a non-repayable grant and is continuously available. A prerequisite is that the project objectives align with the specified funding priorities and that there is transparent use of funds. Through the modular funding approach, applicants can receive tailored support and sustainably maximize their impact. Interested institutions are encouraged to submit their project ideas and collaborate with the Beurer Foundation to advance innovative solutions for education, participation, and environmental protection.
