Description
The project funding of the BürgerStiftung Obersulm is aimed at non-profit organizations, institutions, and committed private individuals from Obersulm and the surrounding area (Baden-Württemberg) who initiate time-limited projects in the fields of youth, social affairs, seniors, art, culture, environmental and nature conservation, as well as monument preservation. The goal is to strengthen the community through projects that correspond to the foundation’s purpose according to § 2 of the statutes and have a concrete connection to Obersulm, without taking on municipal mandatory tasks. Projects are supported that promote social participation across all generations, enable educational and upbringing opportunities for children and youth, and initiate sustainable community projects based on the principle of “help for self-help.” Through unbureaucratic decisions and confidential handling of inquiries, the foundation contributes to the rapid implementation of socially relevant initiatives.
Interested applicants submit an informal project application letter including information about the sponsoring organization, bank details, and contact information of the responsible person, specifying the planned start and the expected end of the measure. Funding is granted as a subsidy after reviewing compliance with the funding criteria – alignment with the foundation’s purpose, connection to the Obersulm community, sustainability, and social benefit – and subject to the availability of funds. Inquiries can be submitted at any time via the foundation’s contact form. A proof of use must be submitted within two months after the project’s completion. The ongoing funding opportunity offers flexible chances for innovative and community-oriented projects that sustainably enrich the cultural, social, and ecological life in Obersulm.
