Project Funding of the Citizens' Foundation Region Rendsburg

The project funding of the Bürgerstiftung Region Rendsburg supports non-profit and charitable associations, organizations, as well as public institutions in Schleswig-Holstein in citizen-driven initiatives. In accordance with its statutory purpose, projects in the areas of youth and elderly care, arts, culture and monument preservation, environmental and landscape protection, science/research, as well as education and training are promoted. With the approach of "help for self-help," the foundation contributes to strengthening sustainable structures locally and setting future-oriented impulses. Recipients are encouraged to expand civic engagement in the Rendsburg region and to jointly implement effective projects. Financial support is provided in the form of grants, the amount of which is based on the significance of the respective project.

Eligible for funding are exclusively non-profit organizations and public institutions that wish to implement their projects in the Rendsburg region. An informal written application can be submitted at any time and will be reviewed by the board. Applicants should outline the concept, the expected outcome, and a rough cost plan. The ongoing allocation enables a timely response to new ideas and needs. Through this uncomplicated application process, the Bürgerstiftung Region Rendsburg promotes civic engagement in diverse ways and thus contributes to the sustainable development of the region.
