Description
The Bürgerstiftung Westenholz supports voluntary and intergenerational initiatives from North Rhine-Westphalia that strengthen the common good locally. Private individuals, associations, non-profit organizations, companies, and start-ups can submit applications on an ongoing basis to receive financial grants for projects in the fields of culture, environmental and nature conservation, education, sports, health, social affairs, or energy efficiency. The goal is the sustainable development of the Delbrück-Westenholz community through creative initiatives that actively involve citizens and promote social cohesion.
Projects are funded that fulfill at least three of the following criteria: innovative approach, high volunteer involvement, strengthening of self-help and personal initiative, expansion of civil society structures, intergenerational bridges, as well as tangible social benefit. To apply, a completed funding form, a concise project description, the requested funding amount, and bank details must be submitted. This support enables local actors to realize common-good-oriented ideas and sustainably anchor engagement on site.
