Project Funding by the Charlotte and Hermann Buhl Foundation

The project funding of the Charlotte and Hermann Buhl Foundation supports charitable and benevolent initiatives in the city of Wertingen (Bavaria) in the areas of society & social affairs, education & upbringing, as well as art & culture. Also funded are music-oriented initiatives, vocational training measures, and media-related projects that strengthen social cohesion or expand educational and cultural offerings. The foundation aims to sustainably promote regional engagement and improve the quality of life for citizens of all age groups. Applications can be submitted continuously – there is no fixed deadline, so project ideas can be reviewed at any time.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and private individuals whose projects are located in Wertingen and comply with the foundation’s statutes. Financing of general budget deficits is excluded. Required documents include a detailed project description, an optional cost and financial plan (PDF), a grant confirmation in case of funding, as well as a final report summarizing the use of funds. The Buhl Foundation thus offers transparent framework conditions for initiatives aiming to expand social participation, artistic expression opportunities, and educational offerings. Interested project sponsors will receive a timely decision on funding eligibility after submitting the complete documents and will be supported with professional guidance throughout their project.
