Description
The project funding of the German Children's Hospice and Family Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations, foundations, interest groups, and public institutions throughout Germany. It particularly supports outpatient children's hospice services and inpatient children's hospices, as well as aid projects in child, youth, and family support. The goal is to provide children, adolescents, and young adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families with uncomplicated and sustainable assistance. With a focus on the quality of the situation description, relevance to those affected, and alignment with the funding priorities, the foundation supports projects that noticeably relieve the daily lives of those affected and enable comprehensive care in both home and inpatient settings.
Applications can be submitted twice a year, by June 30 and December 30; the decision period is approximately three months. Prerequisites for funding are legal capacity, non-profit status, and a meaningful presentation of the applying association or foundation, including statutes, excerpt from the register of associations, and tax exemption certificate. Additionally, a situation description, objectives, methodology, expected results, a detailed work and timeline plan, as well as a cost and financing plan must be submitted. The allocation of earmarked funds is carried out by the volunteer foundation board. Through transparent and authentic on-site supervision, the foundation ensures that every granted subsidy directly reaches the funded projects and makes a sustainable contribution to the care and support of affected families.
