Description
For over two decades, the ENTEGA Foundation has been supporting initiatives oriented towards the common good in Hesse, particularly in the Rhine-Main-Neckar metropolitan region. As a project-based grant platform, it is exclusively aimed at non-profit recognized entities such as cities, municipalities, educational institutions, research institutions, support associations, and clubs. The goal is to strengthen social cohesion, democracy, and to provide support in the areas of social affairs, culture, sports, education, science & research, environmental/nature and climate protection, regional development, energy efficiency & climate protection, agriculture & rural development. Applications can be submitted continuously and are reviewed by the independently acting foundation board.
The following requirements must be met for a successful application: recognition as a non-profit entity by the tax office, location and project implementation in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region, and project content in accordance with the foundation’s statutes. A complete application includes a signed cover letter on official letterhead with bank details, a detailed financing plan (total budget, breakdown, own funds, additional funding), a current exemption notice (no older than five years), the completed annex to the funding application (for clubs or municipalities), as well as a protocol excerpt or committee resolution approving the project. The ENTEGA Foundation places great importance on transparency and identity-forming initiatives to enable sustainable projects for a future-proof living environment.
