Description
The project funding of the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation supports non-profit and public-law institutions nationwide that are dedicated to the advancement of science, research, and public health care. Funding applications in the areas of medical research, health care, and innovative research projects can be submitted online at any time. The goal is to provide sustainable impulses for an excellent research landscape and an efficient health care system in Germany. Projects related to art & culture are not externally funded by the foundation; instead, targeted regional initiatives are initiated.
A prerequisite for funding is a current exemption certificate as well as a purpose anchored in the statutes for the promotion of science & research or public health care. The foundation grants subsidies in the form of time- and purpose-bound allocations. Individual case aid (e.g., therapy costs, vehicles), retrospective projects, individual scholarships, and printing cost subsidies are not eligible for funding. Applications are submitted easily via an online form—without fixed deadlines. After submission, applicants receive a confirmation of receipt, and usually a decision on approval is made within four weeks. In the event of a positive decision, the approval letter specifies the funding purpose, period, and reporting obligations. Transparent use of funds is ensured through interim and final reports. Through clear funding conditions and straightforward application processing, the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation offers reliable support for forward-looking projects in science and health care.
