Description

The project funding of the Evangelical Foundations Osnabrück supports civil society initiatives in Lower Saxony with grants for projects dedicated to the welfare of children, adolescents, and seniors. Measures are funded in the areas of youth and elderly care, education, general and vocational training, as well as student assistance and socially disadvantaged groups. A special feature of the funding is the possibility to quickly and unbureaucratically address small, urgent needs – either as a project contribution from non-profit organizations or as individual assistance for those in need following a shortened procedure. Decisions on submitted applications are usually made four times a year during the administrative board meetings, although applications can be submitted at any time.

Eligible for funding are exclusively non-profit organizations, interest groups, or associations with a corresponding project reference, as well as, in exceptional cases, needy individuals. For a successful application, a meaningful project description, a detailed financing plan, proof of non-profit status, and the applicant’s statutes are required. The submission is reviewed by the board and forwarded to the administrative board for decision. The funding aims to enable sustainable educational, social, and participation projects and to equally strengthen disadvantaged groups in their development. Interested institutions may send their documents to the foundation administration at any time to be promptly informed about possible support.
