Project Funding of the Gerresheim Gemeinsam Evangelische Foundation

The Gerresheim Gemeinsam Evangelical Foundation supports charitable projects throughout the year in North Rhine-Westphalia and, among other things, backs projects of the Evangelical Church Congregation Gerresheim as well as initiatives that strengthen social cohesion in the district. As a sponsorship instrument, the foundation provides financial resources for measures in the areas of social affairs, children and youth, culture, regional development, environmental and nature conservation, agriculture, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection. Funding applications can be submitted at any time by non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, associations, and private individuals. Contact is made easily via email or telephone, enabling flexible planning and implementation of diverse projects – from redesigning outdoor facilities to backpack campaigns for first graders to musical youth projects.

With the aim of sustainably improving the quality of life in Gerresheim, the foundation supports community work and promotes ideas that make intergenerational engagement visible. Families in need of support, children and youth, as well as volunteers, equally benefit from the funding opportunities. The grant requirements are deliberately kept low-threshold to enable rapid realization of innovative concepts. Through this continuous support, a vibrant space is created where cultural encounters, ecological initiatives, and social assistance go hand in hand.
