Description
The Grunewald Foundation continuously offers tax-privileged organizations in Saxony-Anhalt the opportunity to implement independent projects with a "help for self-help" character across diverse thematic areas. Supported are initiatives in the fields of art and culture, science and research, education and training including student assistance, as well as measures for education for sustainable development. Nature conservation initiatives, energy efficiency and climate protection measures, as well as church-related purposes, are also taken into account. Funding applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for flexible project planning. A prerequisite is the recipient’s non-profit status, a clear renunciation of profit-seeking, and a demonstrated contribution to the common good in the Altmark region. Grants to profit-oriented companies or self-employed individuals are excluded.
For the application, in addition to the specific application form, a detailed project description, a financing plan, and proof of tax-privileged status must be submitted. Public institutions, foundations, associations, and educational establishments can thus realize their innovative concepts and thereby strengthen the cultural, scientific, and ecological development locally. The foundation specifically supports initiatives that promote their independence through sustainable impact and set long-term societal impulses. This creates a network of future-oriented projects in the Altmark region that benefits equally from professional expertise and regional commitment.
