Project Funding of the Günter Krönung Foundation – Believing and Helping

The Günter Krönung Foundation – Faith and Helping supports charitable initiatives and private individuals throughout Germany who are committed to helping people in acute need. The focus is on supporting Malteser aid projects both domestically and abroad: emergency relief operations, aid goods transports, and the accompaniment of children's fates are sustainably strengthened through financial grants. The thematic priorities include social affairs, disaster relief, development cooperation, health promotion, as well as measures to strengthen social cohesion and democracy. In addition, projects in the areas of labor & social affairs, agriculture, and rural development are supported. The foundation's goal is to directly promote life-saving and supportive aid measures for children, adolescents, and adults with urgent support needs, thereby intensifying humanitarian engagement at both local and international levels.

Eligible for funding are both charitable organizations and committed private individuals. Applications can be submitted at any time, as the foundation continuously reviews and approves projects. As prerequisites for funding, a detailed project description and complete documentation must be submitted. Applications are informal and ongoing—no additional deadlines need to be observed. Interested applicants receive a transparent overview of funding priorities and conditions in advance to ensure that the planned measures correspond to the foundation’s objectives. Through the uncomplicated application process and focus on acute emergencies, the foundation makes a decisive contribution to improving the living conditions of people in distress and promotes sustainable humanitarian exchange.
