Project Funding by the H + G BANK Foundation

The H + G BANK Foundation, as a non-profit institution in Baden-Württemberg, supports innovative projects within the business area of Volksbank Kurpfalz eG. Grants are awarded continuously to support initiatives in the fields of education, education for sustainable development, sports, child and youth welfare, culture, building and monument preservation, environmental and nature conservation, as well as engagement for social cohesion and democracy. Furthermore, funding priorities focus on regional development, vocational training and further education, culture & media, labor & social affairs, infrastructure & urban development, energy efficiency & climate protection, as well as agriculture & rural development. Applications can be submitted informally by mail or email with a project description (content, concept, program, participants) and a cost and financing plan. Approval is decided at the discretion of a foundation committee.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, interest groups, other associations, and educational institutions with projects in the specified business area. Essential funding requirements are the demonstrable non-profit purpose and the clear localization of the project within the funding area. Eligible costs include project-related material costs, supplies, and program costs; personnel costs, fees, travel expenses, ongoing operating costs, as well as expenses for publishing and publications are not considered. A detailed cost and financing plan must transparently show own funds and other financing sources. Through this support, the H + G BANK Foundation strengthens civic engagement locally and contributes to the sustainable realization of diverse initiatives.
