Project Funding of the Hermann and Ingrid Martini Foundation

The project funding of the Hermann and Ingrid Martini Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions based in the Bielefeld area (North Rhine-Westphalia). Supported are initiatives that serve the foundation’s purposes in the fields of youth and elderly care, education and upbringing, environmental and nature conservation, natural history and local heritage, monument preservation, culture and media, as well as civic engagement. A special focus lies on early childhood development to provide children with a solid foundation in basic linguistic and mathematical skills, thereby optimally facilitating the transition to school life. Additional funding areas include sports, energy efficiency and climate protection, infrastructure and urban development, vocational training and further education, as well as projects aimed at strengthening social cohesion and democracy.

Applications can be submitted at any time and are granted in the form of a subsidy. For the application, a fully completed funding application form and the signature of the board are required. The evaluation is based on the alignment of the project goals with the foundation’s purposes and the focus on early childhood development. Individuals are not eligible to apply, and all measures must be implemented within the Bielefeld area. Interested organizations can obtain the application form as a PDF file on the foundation’s website and submit it in writing without a deadline. The continuous allocation of funds allows for flexible project planning and supports the sustainable implementation of innovative and community-oriented initiatives.
