Description
The INTA Foundation supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations based or operating in the Upper Rhine region (Baden-Württemberg) through its program “Project Funding of the INTA Foundation.” The aim is to promote projects and initiatives that create spaces for encounters, experiences, and growth to enable a meaningful and fulfilling life. The focus is on social cohesion: democracy, peace, and solidarity are strengthened, while individual self-determination and potential development are encouraged. Additionally, the funding honors the life’s work of Helga and Werner Sprenger as well as the INTA meditation as a source of inspiration for personal and communal development. Applications can be submitted continuously and are granted as subsidies. There is no legal entitlement; funding approval is subject to the availability of funds.
Application requirements include recognition of non-profit status according to § 52 of the German Fiscal Code as well as proof of a project location in the Upper Rhine region. The application must contain a precise project description, objectives, planned work steps, and a detailed financial plan. Additionally, a copy of the most recent exemption notice confirming non-profit status and information on the account holder and IBAN must be attached. Upon positive decision by the Foundation Board, the payment is made via a trustee, followed by a formal report on the use of funds. Beneficiaries are obliged to acknowledge the funding in their public relations. This funding offer provides committed initiatives with a long-term perspective for the realization of forward-looking projects in the Upper Rhine region.
