Project Funding of the Josef David Foundation

The project funding of the non-profit Josef-David-Foundation supports cross-border initiatives in the social and cultural sectors to deepen Franco-German friendship and promote sustainable regional development in the PAMINA region (Southern Palatinate, Middle Upper Rhine, Northern Alsace). The focus is on projects that foster intercultural exchange between associations, educational institutions, and interest groups, strengthen neighborhood networks, and introduce new impulses in the areas of social affairs, culture, agriculture, and vocational & further education. Through continuous funding opportunities, participants can promptly access grants to implement encounter formats, workshops, language courses, or school partnerships. The goal is to deepen mutual understanding, create cross-border synergies, and contribute to vibrant regional development in the long term.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, associations, schools, as well as other entities that apply with a clearly defined project proposal and a detailed project description in the application form. Essential requirements are a comprehensible cross-border reference within the PAMINA region and a clear social or cultural focus. Funding requests can be submitted at any time by post or email. A fully completed funding application and a detailed project description are required. As this is an unbureaucratic grant allocation, there is no fixed deadline, allowing initiators to respond flexibly to regional needs and contribute to strengthening Franco-German encounters in the long term.
