Description

The Katharina Zell Foundation supports non-profit organizations and public institutions within the church district of the Protestant Church of Hesse-Nassau with grants for projects that strengthen women, girls, and families in their everyday and life skills. The focus is on initiatives that bring about sustainable change and empowerment through educational impulses, promotion of relational skills and crisis management, as well as social participation. Special emphasis is placed on initiatives that combine offerings for religious socialization, practical life qualification, and individual educational support, thereby expanding relational skills, strengthening self-efficacy, and opening up opportunities for participation.

Funding applications can be submitted continuously, provided the project is carried out within the church district of the Protestant Church of Hesse-Nassau. Only non-profit organizations and public institutions are eligible to apply. Applications must include a detailed project description, a cost and financing plan, a schedule, and the completed checklist for funding applications. The foundation’s board decides on the approval of submitted documents. This transparent and continuous allocation process allows initiatives to start immediately and participants to benefit sustainably.
