Description
The Keipp for Children Foundation supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, associations, and public bodies in the Vorderpfalz region in effectively promoting disadvantaged children and adolescents up to 18 years old in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, the Rhein-Pfalz district, and the Bad Dürkheim district. The focus is on projects that strengthen academic and vocational education in the natural sciences—particularly in the field of electrical engineering—as well as initiatives in children’s and youth sports. Through flexible grant allocation, new learning approaches, internships, workshops, and team or tournament sponsorships are equally supported. The goal is to create equal opportunities and sustainably develop technical as well as athletic talents.
Funding applications can be submitted throughout the year. A prerequisite is a detailed project description demonstrating that the offer and target group correspond to the foundation’s statutory purposes. Important criteria include: children and adolescents in need from the defined region, a clear focus on scientific education or children’s and youth sports, and a transparent financing plan. With the completed funding application, innovative, inclusive, and practice-oriented concepts can be realized that consistently pursue the principle of “education regardless of social background.” Expert teams within the foundation review applications promptly and decide on the allocation of funds. This creates a sustainable network that equally promotes enthusiasm for technology and sporting team spirit and strengthens them in the long term.
