Project Funding by the Kronberg Foundation

The project funding of the Kronberg Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations, public institutions, educational institutions, private individuals, and companies in Hesse who wish to sustainably enrich church-related social life in the Kronberg parish area. Since 2008, the foundation has supported initiatives in the fields of child and youth work, education, and adult education, and promotes cultural dialogue, church music, senior care, and assistance for people with disabilities. Financial grants can be applied for material costs, purchases for events and educational offerings, fees for speakers, as well as material expenses. Ongoing funding opportunities allow for flexible application submission: project proposals are reviewed at any time once the project location within the Kronberg parish area is verified and a commitment to community, cultural, or social activities is ensured.

Projects are evaluated based on their relevance to community life, proximity to the target group, sustainability, and contribution to cultural exchange and inclusion. Interested initiatives and sponsors addressing children, youth, seniors, or people with disabilities, or organizing church music events, may submit a project description, a cost and financing plan, as well as proof of the project location to the foundation board. The aim of the funding is to strengthen local engagement and promote togetherness within the Kronberg parish area. These grants give rise to diverse offerings – from confirmation trips and lecture series to barrier-free mobility services for worshippers – which noticeably enrich community life and strengthen local cohesion.
