Description
Since its founding in 2007, the LindenLimmer Foundation has supported initiatives and projects in the Hanover city district of Linden-Limmer that aim to strengthen social cohesion. Eligible for funding are projects in the fields of education, upbringing, and social affairs that promote interaction among children, youth, families, and other local residents. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, public institutions, and private individuals, provided the project is carried out in accordance with the statutes within the city district. With an annual funding volume of up to €10,000, personnel, material, and supply costs are covered, while external fees are excluded.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis via the official project funding application form along with supplementary documents such as a project description, financing plan, and, if applicable, proof of non-profit status. Decisions on approvals are made promptly in committees convening monthly. Evaluation criteria include the specific contribution to local cohesion, relevance in the fields of education, upbringing, or social affairs, and the practical feasibility of the project. Upon positive decision, funding is granted immediately; subsequently, a usage report and a brief summary are mandatory. The LindenLimmer Foundation operates economically and politically independently, thereby providing citizen-oriented resources for sustainable projects that tangibly enrich the social fabric of the Linden-Limmer city district.
