Description
The NEULAND Foundation Wolfsburg continuously supports non-profit projects in the neighborhoods of the city of Lower Saxony with the aim of sustainably improving living and housing conditions. The focus is on initiatives that provide children and young people with meaningful leisure activities, promote personality development, and actively involve seniors. Integration-promoting and intercultural projects that strengthen neighborhood cohesion receive grants, as do measures for network building and cooperation with other local actors. Applications can be submitted at any time, provided the project ideas are implemented within the Wolfsburg city area and correspond to the statutory funding priorities in the areas of children and youth, social affairs, migration, engagement for social cohesion/democracy, regional development, labor & social affairs, as well as agriculture & rural development.
Eligible for funding are certified non-profit organizations, foundations, associations, interest groups, or public institutions that have the necessary personnel and material resources and seek cooperation with additional partners. Funding is provided primarily for expenses related to basic project equipment and material costs; ongoing personnel and administrative costs, construction and maintenance costs, as well as commercial projects are excluded. Selection is based on alignment with the foundation’s purposes, practical experience with comparable projects, long-term orientation, and activation of target groups. For the application, a detailed project description, a comprehensive cost and financing plan, proof of non-profit status, and the statutes or bylaws must be submitted. With this funding, the NEULAND Foundation Wolfsburg contributes to a tolerant, solidaristic, and future-oriented neighborhood life.
