Project Funding of the Nightline Foundation

The Nightline Foundation supports innovative projects nationwide in the field of peer-to-peer counseling for students. Through a continuously open grant program, local Nightlines are supported both ideologically and financially to strengthen confidential counseling services via telephone, email, or chat and to establish new locations. The focus is on measures for the training and further education of volunteers, networking within the Nightline network, as well as initiatives for the sustainable development of existing structures. The goal is to implement sustainable counseling concepts and promote social cohesion at universities.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations and founders who plan or wish to expand projects within the framework of a local Nightline. Application requirements include a clear focus on counseling or network strengthening, start-up initiatives, as well as concepts for the further development of existing services. Evaluation criteria are the relevance to student counseling, the potential for network deepening, and the feasibility and sustainability of the project. Through funding, the opportunity arises to effectively realize regional initiatives in the areas of health, education, and social affairs and to significantly advance the expansion of the nationwide Nightline landscape.
