Description

The Reinhold Beitlich Foundation continuously awards grants nationwide for approximately 250 projects annually in the fields of education and upbringing, youth welfare, social affairs, nature and environmental protection, as well as science and research. Non-profit organizations, educational institutions, associations, and also private individuals can submit their projects via an online application and benefit from the funding. In particular, expenses for material costs, fees, and acquisitions are supported, while pure construction measures, the procurement of motor vehicles, and ongoing personnel costs are excluded. The goal is the sustainable implementation of initiatives oriented towards the common good that strengthen social cohesion, promote innovation, and support environmental protection.

A meaningful project description is required for the application, in which the project, the planned timeframe, total costs, and the requested funding amount are transparently presented. Additionally, applicants must provide information about their own organization or person and submit a detailed cost and financing plan including bank details. After the complete receipt of all documents, the board promptly decides on the approval. Thanks to the sustainable capital endowment of the foundation from the earnings of the CHT corporate group, over €14 million have flowed into non-profit projects since the 1980s, visibly advancing social engagement in education, culture, environment, and research.
