Description
The project funding of the KULTURLABOR Foundation – Foundation for the Promotion of Art & Culture supports committed artists, cultural workers, and institutions in Baden-Württemberg, especially in rural areas. The focus is on the realization of creative projects that strengthen social cohesion, anchor sustainability, and enable broad networking between stakeholders and educational institutions. Applications, which can be submitted at regular intervals, are reviewed in the form of a grant: Initially, a project outline is submitted via the online form, based on which an invitation to submit a full application may follow. The jury particularly evaluates cross-sector and interdisciplinary collaborations, intersectional perspectives, and inclusive approaches that guarantee equitable participation of all involved.
Funding is provided to individuals as well as non-profit organizations, associations, educational institutions, interest groups, and companies aiming to be active in rural regions. A contribution to social cohesion, consideration of sustainable concepts, and concrete measures to network cultural workers and institutions are prerequisites. In addition to the project outline, a detailed financial plan and a comprehensive project description with a timeline must be submitted upon invitation. The procedure enables an unbureaucratic support of innovative formats: Bold ideas and experimental approaches are expressly encouraged to diversify the local cultural landscape and achieve long-term added value.
