Description
The project funding of the Lauenstein Foundation supports nonprofit organizations, public institutions, educational establishments, and foundations nationwide in curative education and social-therapeutic initiatives based on anthroposophical principles. The funding is specifically aimed at organizations that develop or operate services for people requiring assistance, as well as professionals and research institutions in the fields of curative education and social therapy. The focus is both on the financial support of existing institutions and on backing training and continuing education programs for pedagogical and therapeutic staff. Scientific projects and public relations work are also considered, as well as the realization of applicants’ own projects and events. Applications in the form of a funding request of no more than two pages with legally binding signatures must be submitted by January 31 each year. For educational measures, a detailed overall concept of the institution is additionally required.
The official Word form must be used for the application, which reflects all formal requirements and must comply with the Foundation’s funding guidelines. Timely submission ensures review within the annually recurring cycle. Founded in 1993 and having provided over EUR 3.3 million in funding to date, the Lauenstein Foundation values transparent criteria and a cooperative partnership. Project leaders receive financial grants for the implementation of their projects following a positive decision, with anthroposophy serving as the conceptual guiding principle forming the basis for curative education and social-therapeutic developments. This funding approach contributes to strengthening inclusive structures and advancing innovative concepts in the social and health sectors.
