Description
The project funding of the Personality Foundation supports nonprofit educational institutions, interest groups, and associations nationwide in the realization of innovative initiatives for the personality development of children and adolescents in the fields of art, music, theater, and sports. Both fee- and material-intensive workshops as well as projects focusing on socio-emotional competence are funded. Expenses for fees of external experts, room rentals, material costs, promotional measures, and other operational costs can be covered through a one-time grant. The continuous awarding process allows for flexible application submission at any time, with projects being supervised and financially supported following a selection by the foundation’s board. The goal is to sustainably strengthen the independent action and self-confidence of the young participants and to establish creative learning formats in everyday educational practice.
For the application, a written project proposal with a detailed financing plan as well as the subsequent submission of a final report are required. Prerequisites for funding include submission by an institutional entity, review by the foundation’s board, and a personal interview. Institutions such as schools, kindergartens, or nonprofit organizations may submit project ideas at any time and receive support from the foundation in planning, organizing, and implementing upon successful approval. The foundation not only provides financial support but also connects applicants with external experts when needed and offers valuable networking resources. A special focus lies on the sustainable documentation and evaluation of impact for a possible continuation of selected programs.
