Project Funding of the Turkish-German Health Foundation e.V.

The project funding of the Turkish-German Health Foundation e.V. supports nonprofit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, and associations nationwide as well as explicitly in Hesse in the implementation of innovative initiatives. Through a grant format, initiatives are promoted that address the intersection of migration, education, and health. The focus is on both the linguistic and professional qualification of people with a migration background and measures for the intercultural opening of social institutions. Culturally sensitive projects in the fields of elderly care or outpatient services contribute to breaking down barriers and improving access to health and social services. Additionally, impulses in culture & media are created to strengthen interreligious dialogue, as well as offers for violence and extremism prevention to promote social cohesion.

Another key focus is climate protection in connection with energy efficiency. Training concepts and awareness-raising measures provide homeowners and tenants with practical tips for reducing energy consumption, thereby contributing to environmental protection. Projects for the development of forward-looking concepts in the areas of renewable energies, sustainable mobility, or energy savings are supported, as are initiatives in the fields of work & social affairs or education & training. Since funding applications can be submitted at any time, committed multipliers and associations have the opportunity to respond promptly to local needs. Through the continuous provision of funds, sustainable structures are established that strengthen the participation and equal opportunities of people with a migration background in the long term. Interested actors are encouraged to submit creative project ideas and thus contribute to social, cultural, and ecological development in Hesse and throughout Germany.
