Project Funding/Cooperation and Donation Projects of the von Laer Foundation

The von Laer Foundation continuously supports non-profit projects in North Rhine-Westphalia that sustainably enrich the lives of children, adolescents, and families. The focus is on initiatives in the fields of child and youth welfare, family support, education, and socio-pedagogical urban development. Organizations with recognized non-profit status may submit requests for support of specific cooperation and donation projects at any time. The goal is to strengthen municipal services and innovative assistance programs through targeted sponsorship and to create spaces for participation where young people and their families can find new perspectives. Both established youth welfare institutions and local initiatives are included to promote a partnership-based exchange and ensure effective support.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, and associations with projects in the areas of child and youth welfare, vocational training and further education, or social urban development. A written request with a detailed project description and proof of non-profit status is required. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis, enabling timely decisions and flexible implementation. The von Laer Foundation places great value on transparent award criteria and a collaborative partnership to create sustainable, positive impacts in municipal areas. Interested project sponsors receive individual insights into current funding projects upon receipt of their documents and are supported throughout the funding process until the successful implementation of their initiatives.
