Project Funding Nature (Schöffel Foundation)

The Schöffel Foundation supports sustainable environmental and nature conservation initiatives in Bavaria that are dedicated to climate protection and energy efficiency. With continuously open submission opportunities, it assists non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations in developing and implementing forward-looking project ideas. The aim of the funding is, in line with the guiding principle “setting out together – acting sustainably”, to strengthen nature as a vital place of tranquility and to prepare it for future generations in the face of the global climate crisis. Eligible applicants can submit an application at any time via the Foundation’s contact form and receive a non-repayable grant to implement their projects.

Eligible for funding are non-profit applicants, associations, and environmental and climate protection organizations in Bavaria that engage in nature and environmental protection projects. A prerequisite for a successful application is the submission of a completed application form and a detailed project description focusing on nature, environmental, or climate protection. The application form, together with the project description, is uploaded via the Schöffel Foundation’s contact form to complete the application. This straightforward process ensures a prompt review and allocation of funds.
