Description

The project funding and project collaborations of DUS-illuminated® are aimed at non-profit organizations, companies, public institutions, as well as private individuals who wish to realize innovative lighting and illumination concepts. Within the framework of the city’s lighting master plan, the foundation supports projects at characteristic buildings in Düsseldorf both operationally and cooperatively. As grant funding, this program continuously offers the opportunity to implement artistic and project-oriented initiatives in North Rhine-Westphalia. A prerequisite for funding is that the project is located in Düsseldorf and has a direct connection to the lighting master plan of the state capital.

With the funding objective of strengthening the city’s identity and highlighting public spaces, DUS-illuminated® supports tailored lighting concepts at historic monuments, modern architectural ensembles, and urban meeting points. Eligible applicants include cultural creators, citizen initiatives, and municipal authorities from Düsseldorf and the surrounding area who aim to emphasize the interplay of tradition and modernity in the Rhine city through creative illumination.
