Description

Project funding and donation initiatives of the Oderbruch Foundation sustainably strengthen the community in the home region of Brandenburg–Oderbruch. Non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, public institutions, and committed private individuals can continuously apply for grants for projects in the areas of regional development, culture & media, construction & monument preservation, agriculture & rural development, as well as labor & social affairs. In addition to the preservation of historic listed buildings, projects promoting social cohesion and democratic participation are particularly supported. The foundation’s purpose focuses on initiatives that preserve cultural heritage, strengthen local infrastructure, and introduce innovative ideas for sustainable rural development.

Funds are allocated by the foundation coordinator in agreement with the volunteer foundation board. Key evaluation criteria are regional relevance and contribution to the common good in the Oderbruch. A direct project connection to the home region is a prerequisite for funding. Interested project sponsors from Brandenburg can submit applications at any time and benefit from an open-ended deadline.
