Project Funding by the Bad Soden Music Foundation Jürgen Frei

The Bad Soden Music Foundation Jürgen Frei supports musical activities in Hesse, particularly in Bad Soden, Schwalbach, and the Main-Taunus district, through ongoing grants. Funding is provided for concerts and project initiatives involving amateur ensembles, school or club music groups, as well as occasional professional performances. A special focus is placed on promoting youth work in music schools and general education schools in the region. In selected cases, the foundation also offers individual start-up assistance for instrumental lessons for young talents, enabling children and adolescents from financially disadvantaged or educationally underserved families to participate in musical training. Application documents can be submitted at any time, as there are no fixed deadlines.

Eligible applicants include non-profit associations, public institutions, private individuals, and other organizations based or active within the funding area. A prerequisite for funding is engagement as an amateur ensemble or music group, as well as, in the case of individual support, demonstrable diligence and interest of the young music enthusiasts. In project selection, the extent of youth work and financial need play a decisive role. Thanks to this support, local ensembles can expand their musical diversity, schools can establish additional offerings in music and cultural subjects, and children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds gain access to instrumental lessons. The Bad Soden Music Foundation thus makes a sustainable contribution to cultural education and promotes the musical youth in the region.
