Description
The project funding of the Toni Kroos Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations and foundations in Germany that are committed to severely and chronically ill children, adolescents, and their families. As a comprehensive sponsorship program, the funding covers 100% of all incurred costs and allows for uncomplicated applications at any time. Eligible for funding are children's hospitals, children’s and youth hospices, short-term residential homes, care facilities, and outpatient services that specifically wish to implement infrastructure measures – from equipping therapy rooms and medical devices to renovations and new constructions as well as living space adaptations. Additionally, family support such as therapies and specialized aids are supported to sustainably improve the quality of life of those affected.
In selecting projects, the focus is on the orientation towards severely ill children and their families, the urgency of the need, and the long-term impact. A cooperative partnership between applicants and the foundation ensures that each funded measure is optimally tailored to the specific needs. Thanks to nationwide funding readiness, local initiatives can benefit just as much as large-scale regional projects. In this way, the Toni Kroos Foundation contributes to creating innovative therapy offerings, realizing urgently needed construction projects, and sustainably relieving everyday family life – always with the goal of giving young patients a bit of joy in life back.
