Project Funding in the Field of Early Childhood Education

The funding program of the State of Styria enables continuous grants for projects in child education and care facilities. The aim is to support educational initiatives in nurseries, kindergartens, mixed-age groups, children’s centers, after-school care facilities, and with day parents in Styria. Applications can be submitted at any time to the responsible specialist department and are processed immediately in accordance with legal regulations. Carriers and operators of non-profit, public, or education-oriented institutions receive financial contributions to implement innovative concepts for the promotion of children and youth and to sustainably improve the quality of care.

The funding extends across diverse educational and social sectors and is particularly aimed at operators of facilities planning forward-looking training and further education, creative working methods, or social integration projects. The administration is carried out under the supervision of the state government, with original invoices and payment receipts being reviewed. Through transparent allocation and ongoing disbursement, reliable planning is possible, while the Department of Education and Society in Graz provides professional support. The program contributes to strengthening early childhood education in Styria and alleviating the workload of educational institutions in their work.
