Description

In Styria, the state supports public and non-profit institutions with grants for the implementation of innovative projects in day nurseries, kindergartens, age-extended groups, children’s centers, after-school care facilities, as well as with day parents. The aim of this funding is to expand high-quality educational and care services for children and youth and to promote pedagogical innovations in the fields of education, labor & social affairs, as well as training and further education. Applications for new initiatives must be submitted before the project begins, whereby the ongoing procedure allows for flexible and needs-based project development.

A prerequisite for the grant is the project approval by the state government, proof of project costs, and the conclusion of a funding agreement. The application must be accompanied by the following documents: application form, cost estimate, original invoices with proof of payment, evidence of project implementation, and a final activity report. The deadlines for submitting the final accounting and report are set individually by the state government depending on the scope and duration of the project. Expert support and supervision by the responsible specialist department create a reliable framework in which sponsors of innovative children’s educational and care facilities can successfully implement their projects.
