Description
The Donaueschingen Citizens' Foundation continuously grants project subsidies to support charitable initiatives in Donaueschingen. Funding is provided for initiatives in the areas of education & training, arts & culture, sports, construction & monument preservation, as well as – in particularly justified individual cases – charitable aid. Eligible applicants include non-profit associations, interest groups, other organizations, public institutions, and individuals based or active in Donaueschingen. Financing is provided 100% from the income of the foundation’s assets and incoming donations. Interested project sponsors may submit their written application at any time to the Citizens' Foundation’s office.
A prerequisite for funding is non-profit status as well as compliance with the funding criteria according to the foundation’s statutes. The following documents are required for submission: a signed application form and – for associations – the statutes and excerpt from the register of associations. After a positive decision, no legal entitlement to payment arises, and project sponsors commit to reporting on the progress and completion of the project. Through this transparent funding process, the Donaueschingen Citizens' Foundation supports creative, social, and cultural projects and thus contributes to the sustainable development of its hometown.
