ProStift – Support of the Foundation for Community Development (Living Community)

ProStift is an ongoing funding program of the Foundation for Community Development that specifically strengthens community life in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions, particularly members and civic volunteers of the Protestant Church Congregation Radevormwald. Through financial grants, in-kind donations, and services, ProStift supports urgently needed acquisitions and repairs. The initiators pool their expertise to sustainably implement projects while simultaneously fostering cohesion within the community. Whether work materials for educational offerings or craft services for structural repairs – ProStift enables ideas to be realized quickly and efficiently through a holistic approach.

A prerequisite for funding is active membership or demonstrable engagement in the Protestant Church Congregation Radevormwald. Applications can be submitted at any time and are evaluated based on the following criteria: the specific need for community life, the contribution of work materials or services by the applicants, and the demonstrated commitment. Expenses for acquisitions, repairs, work materials, and related services are eligible for funding. By combining financial resources and voluntary contributions, effective support is created for diverse local initiatives. ProStift thus offers a flexible and inclusive framework to sustainably revitalize community life and strengthen social as well as cultural cohesion in the region.
