Description
The "Qualification of Trainees through Courses of Intercompany Vocational Training (RL ÜLU)" supports providers of intercompany courses based in Lower Saxony in the fields of crafts, construction, and agriculture with non-repayable grants. The goal is to ensure a consistently high quality of training statewide. Funding is provided for both the recognized instruction and average costs of basic and advanced level courses as well as for boarding with full catering during one-week measures. In more developed regions, the funding rate is up to 40%, and in transition regions up to 60% of eligible expenses. Up to 60% of eligible costs are covered to guarantee the implementation of coherent, practice-oriented courses in Lower Saxony.
A prerequisite for approval is that the legal entity is based in Lower Saxony and that the courses are conducted continuously without interruption and with a maximum of 20% participant absenteeism. Basic level courses are funded up to the intermediate examination (maximum 4 weeks). Proof of overall project financing is mandatory. Applications must be submitted annually by November 1 for the following year. The Investment and Development Bank of Lower Saxony (NBank) reviews and decides on the applications, which must be submitted electronically via the customer portal and in original written form.
