REGIO ACTIVE – Youth Welfare Advisors in Youth Employment Agencies (JUBE)

REGIO AKTIV – Youth Welfare Advisors in Youth Employment Agencies (JUBE) supports counties and independent cities in Saxony-Anhalt with a six-year grant funded by the European Social Fund Plus. The program aims to strengthen the professional and organizational work of the youth employment agencies and to assist young people in the seamless transition from school to vocational training or the labor market. Through financial support, municipal authorities can employ up to a full-time equivalent for a youth welfare advisor who acts as a central navigator within the various sub-areas of the youth welfare office. This creates a networked and quality-oriented support system that identifies the need for assistance early on and coordinates tailored measures.

The funding is exclusively aimed at public institutions in Saxony-Anhalt, specifically counties and independent cities, that wish to expand their youth employment agency by adding a youth welfare advisor. A prerequisite is the organizational integration into the structure of the youth welfare office and compliance with the general guidelines of REGIO AKTIV. Core tasks include, among others, case discussions with cross-departmental participation, maintenance of the shared IT system, quality development of cooperation with youth welfare providers, as well as planning joint events. Applications are submitted via the State Administration Office Saxony-Anhalt, Dessau branch. Interested local authorities thereby receive sustainable financing to further develop youth policy processes on site and to promote young people in a targeted manner.
