Description
RESCHIP4EU strengthens the excellence of EU higher education in the field of Embedded Systems Design through an ISCED Level 7 double degree master's program (120 ECTS) with specializations in secure, greener, and smarter platforms as well as a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Over a period of 24 months, participants are supported with scholarships that include partial or full tuition waivers as well as an excellence scholarship with monthly living support of up to €900. The aim is to attract talent from EU member states and associated EEA countries who can already demonstrate admission and enrollment in the RESCHIP4EU program, while simultaneously promoting diversity in terms of gender, age, social, and economic background. Through the combination of a practice-oriented curriculum, inter-university exchange, and entrepreneurial focus, a unique learning environment is created that shapes the next generation of digital experts.
Tuition fees and living expenses are funded with a support rate ranging from 50% to 100%: half tuition waivers valued at €3,000 per academic year, full waivers up to €6,000, as well as additional monthly allowances for excellence scholarship recipients. Selection is based on the relevance of the bachelor's degree, GPA, reputation of the home university, innovative experience, and motivation statement. Application documents include diploma/certificate (original and English translation), transcript of records, proof of English proficiency, CV, motivation letter, proof of financial situation, and an official photo ID. Scholarships are awarded continuously until the budget is exhausted, and the program starts from September 2026. Through a strict, merit-based selection process and additional priority for underrepresented groups, RESCHIP4EU ensures equal opportunities and innovative strength within the European chip design community.
