Description
This funding offer is aimed at agricultural enterprises in Saxony-Anhalt that manage nature conservation-relevant permanent grassland areas within Natura 2000 and other protected areas. The objective is to provide financial compensation through compensatory payments for expenses incurred in environmentally friendly management with specific restrictions. The funding covers topics such as Agriculture & Rural Development, Environmental/Nature Conservation, and Energy Efficiency & Climate Protection, offering a subsidy ranging from €106.00 to €440.00 per hectare per calendar year.
Eligible are holders of self-managed agricultural enterprises whose land lies within the Natura 2000 area framework, nature reserves, or protected landscape elements and for which fertilization and usage restrictions apply. Compliance with the specified management requirements during the reference period is a prerequisite. Applications must be submitted electronically by May 15 of each year to the responsible Office for Agriculture, Land Consolidation, and Forestry (ALFF). The Ministry of Economy, Tourism, Agriculture, and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt provides all relevant information and forms via the electronic agricultural application system (ELAISA). Early application submission ensures reliable planning and contributes to the sustainable preservation of valuable grassland ecosystems.
