Description

The SABA Education Scholarship of the Crespo Foundation is aimed at adult individuals with migration and refugee backgrounds who wish to obtain a school-leaving certificate through a second-chance education pathway. The program offers financial grants for up to three years to cover school fees and travel expenses, as well as a budget for tutoring, learning materials, and childcare. This support is complemented by professional advice, individually tailored coaching, and inspiring workshops. In the Rhine-Main area, support is provided on-site, while women across Germany can also participate digitally. The goal is to reduce barriers, strengthen equal opportunities, and sustainably support professional entry. The Crespo Foundation relies on a closely connected community of scholarship recipients, mentors, and experts to ensure long-term impact and empowerment.

The scholarship provides continuous funding opportunities without fixed application deadlines and supports, in addition to traditional educational expenses, accompanying services such as childcare. Requirements include a migration or refugee background and a previously unrecognized school-leaving certificate. Through the combination of financial support and personal guidance, a space for self-development and qualification is created, empowering participants throughout the entire project duration of up to 36 months. The SABA Education Scholarship lays the foundation to close educational gaps, broaden perspectives, and promote successful integration into the labor market.
